I want to make our stance on AI clear: we are doing everything we can to protect your work on Bindings.

We've enabled Cloudflare's new AI Firewall, which will help us block bad actors. We've boosted our bots.txt to block all AI scrapers we know.

There are features that AI enables that I think would be great. Automatic alt text for panels? Rad. Translations so your comics are digestible in multiple languages with the tap of a button? Amazing... but not at the cost of feeding your work to the all-consuming thief. We have too many boxes that need to be checked before we even consider it.

We're not going to do some shady opt-out surprise. We will not host generative AI comic work.

We're going to be so human, it's gross.
